SNOWY MOUNTAINS CARE & EARLY LEARNING CENTRE STARTS ITS OUT OF SCHOOL HOURS SERVICE

Snowy Mountains Care and Early Learning Centre has announced that it will establish a new Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service in Jindabyne.The Centre's Management Committee and staff are committed to ensuring that the Jindabyne community have access to before school, after school and vacation care services. This service is vital for local working families, and aims to be an alternative home environment providing a range of activities for school aged children.

Snowy Mountains Care and Early Learning Centre (SMCELC) is well known in the local community for providing the very best in care and education for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Carol Barkley, the Centre's Director says "We respect the dedicated staff that ran the OSHC program for so many years and hope to continue the tradition of a great community partnership. Expanding our centre to incorporate OSHC is an exciting prospect for our centre. Like our current programs, the OSHC will be run by qualified and experienced educators. We will provide high quality care and education with an emphasis on play and leisure experiences, social interaction, recreation and programs such as art and music. We are aiming to commence on Tuesday 8th October." Working closely with Debbie Lee Hughes, Acting Principal of Jindabyne Central School (JCS), the new OSHC service will be located within the JCS grounds.
