We acknowledge and celebrate the wonderful differences we all have.

 

At SMCELC we have developed a Strategic Inclusion Plan (SIP) to ensure we are aware of and embed inclusive practice strategies into our care environments to make a positive impact within our community.

Services require a SIP if they care for children with additional needs. Regardless of this fact, we are aware that inclusion is supporting children with access to a diverse, supportive and welcoming environment. We ensure our plan has strategies for any barriers around inclusion, diversity and reconciliation.

We receive assistance from Include Me, part of KU Children's Services.
